The mighty Ogeechee is a wild and remote river, with gorgeous cypress trees that are hundreds of years old, artesian wells on the banks that bubble forth crystal clear water, and the remnants of river history that is found up and down the waterway.
Take in the stunning scenery while exploring the Canoochee River, the largest tributary of the Ogeechee, and a truly beautiful section of river. This river is narrower and calmer than the Ogeechee, with younger trees and taller banks. Look for the occasional Barred Owl or the Acadian Flycatcher in the spring!
